The mid rise hits right below my belly button, which is way more comfortable than the high-rise pairs I used to wear. The sand color doesn't show through light linen pants either, so I've basically been living in these four all summer.
Bought these to replace my old high-rise pairs and the mid rise hits right at the hip bone, no rolling down when I sit all day. The extra coverage in the back is exactly what I wanted. Four pairs for the price felt like a steal.
